Daycare
When our daughter was born in 2010, as new parents, we wanted to give her all the early advantages. One early advantage we found out about was the "gift of languages". We wanted her to learn Spanish from the beginning but since my husband and I are both native English speakers, we didn't think it was possible. We created an immersion environment by surrounding her with native Spanish speakers. IT WORKED! We were surprised to see that by the age of 7 months old she started speaking in BOTH English and Spanish! A few years later we did it with our son and now we have two multilingual children!
We had heard all the myths about children learning two languages at the same time. Our children learned both languages at the same time. They were early speakers (of both languages!), they never experienced any speech impediments or delays. At each development stage they have been above average.
We know how difficult, expensive and time consuming that process is, so we decided to help other parents with that same vision. We have created this Spanish immersion academy option to help your child develop their language skills. You don't have to speak any Spanish at all - we do it all for you. We also respect parents' desire to NOT go the bilingual route - we also provide traditional daycare services in English as well.
Spanish Immersion Option
ISA (IMMERSE! Spanish Academy) Child Care is Montgomery County's only daycare center that offers a complimentary, full Spanish immersion experience. We immerse children from English speaking families in a Spanish environment so the children learn to speak Spanish like native speakers! (This Spanish Immersion program is OPTIONAL.)
